Enter, Summit Horizon Red IPA.
Hops so nice we packaged them twice.
An instant hit upon its release in January 2020, Summit Mixed Pack IPA Edition returned in January 2021.
This hopped up variety pack featured bitter seasonal Summit Twenty-One IPA, bold limited-edition Summit Elderflower IPA, bright Summit Slugfest Juicy IPA and beloved favorite Summit Sága IPA. With twelve 12oz cans full of assertive and vibrant tropical flavors, this combination of brews was the perfect way to escape winter’s cold.
While fans eagerly picked up these packs, as summer neared we knew we needed to change up the line-up to accommodate for shifting pallets. We also knew, we had additional IPAs to share.
Throwing back to a throwback for Summit Brewing’s 35th Anniversary
With 2021 also commemorating Summit Brewing’s 35th anniversary, we knew there was no better time to bring some much asked-after beers out of retirement.
Starting with, Horizon Red IPA!
First released in 2009, Horizon Red IPA is one of our most sought-after brews. This India Pale Ale and Amber hybrid artfully blends big hops with complex malts for a bitter and clean finish. Aromas of citrus and pine from the Horizon and Mosaic hops blend with the strong malt backbone created by a blend of German, English and American malts. Its deep red hue gives it a look as unique as its flavor.
