Summit Brewing Company has a long history of charitable giving in our community.
As a local company, we understand the importance of community involvement and support.


Summit receives numerous requests for charitable donations each month. While we would truly like to help everyone, we unfortunately cannot accommodate every request that is submitted. For that reason, we’ve created the following donation guidelines and requirements to help us evaluate the incoming requests.

  • We require at least 30 days’ notice.
  • We cannot donate the exclusive use of our Ratskeller or Training Room spaces. Generous non-profit rates are available. Please email [email protected] for rates and more information on rentals and use of space. Please continue reading and fill out the form for all other donations.
  • Please keep in mind we try to accommodate as many as possible within our budget, but cannot donate to all.
  • Due to the volume of requests, we are only able to respond to requests that we’ve approved. If your donation is approved, you will be notified via e-mail.
  • All donations are final and cannot be exchanged or refunded for monetary value.
  • We cannot provide staffing to work events or deliver donations.
  • All donations must be picked up at the brewery during current administrative office business hours; therefore, we cannot accommodate donations outside the State of Minnesota.
  • We do not donate or contribute to:
    • Functions, auctions or other events that support or raise funds for youth, youth programs and/or K–12 schools.
      • As a craft brewery, we are strongly against underage drinking and we just don’t want to make kids think drinking looks cool. Even if your event is intended to be adults-only, we simply believe beer and kids should not mix and for that reason we cannot contribute.
    • Political and/or religious organizations.

Before requesting a donation for your event via the form to the right, please first review our DONATION REQUEST GUIDELINES above.

REMINDER: We must receive your submission at least 30 days prior to the date of the event (and sometimes more depending on the request). We are currently booked out for donations several months in advance. Due to the volume of requests we receive, we can respond only to the requests that meet our guidelines (see above) AND those that we are able to make a donation to at the time. We apologize that we cannot respond to all inquiries.
