Damian McConn, Head Brewer
More than 15 years ago, Damian made the enlightened decision to leave the European brewing industry for the bright lights of Minnesota. In addition to his regular brewing duties, Damian supervises the production of our cask-conditioned ales. He also routinely examines our beers to make sure they’re within specification.

Neither. Likes dogs, but has been bitten 3 times so he’d rather have a horse.

James Birnie, Brewer
Summit’s only Canadian-born brewer, James tended bar for 12 years and loves beer so much he adopted a dog named Barley.
Mike Swiggum, Brewer
After working for three years in packaging and as Sanitation Lead in Summit Brewing’s bottle house, Mike is now a full-fledged member of our brewing team.
James Fetherston, Brewer
A Leo, James grew up in Wisconsin and studied biology and psychology at UW-Oshkosh. Fully trained in all aspects of quality, James hunted bugs and managed yeast as our Microbiologist for 5.5 years before joining the brewing team in 2018.
