Winter Is Coming…and So Is Summit Winter Ale

After nearly two years of constant upheaval within the brewing world, it’s hard to keep track of where 2020 ended and 2021 began. Now, just as we’re beginning to get our feet underneath us (such as with the reopening of our Ratskeller) 2021 is ending!

Fortunately, not everything was turned upside down in 2021. More specifically, we mean to announce Summit Winter Ale is returning!

Our second most popular seasonal (see Summit Oktoberfest), this winter-warmer-inspired brown ale is hitting shelves soon. Brewed with warm caramel malts and spicy German hops, it boasts bready sweet notes with hints of espresso, vanilla and black cherry flavors. Full in body and finishing velvety smooth, it’s the perfect thing to warm your cockles. Whatever those are.
