Celebrate Fourth of July with Twin Cities in Motion’s Red, White and Boom

Another Twin Cities staple is returning in 2022!

Fans of holiday races, rejoice! After a two-year hiatus, the Twin Cities in Motion Red, White and Boom run is set to take place on Fourth of July.

Of course, there will be some slight changes from years past. (All good!)

To highlight the holiday, the race distance has been changed to four miles. Runners will still start at Boom Island Park but will move along the river, through St. Anthony Main and back to Boom Island.

There will also be a family “race” – the TC Kids Sparkler Dash! Runners of all ages are invited to this free, kid-friendly race that ranges from a pre-K dash to half mile to mile.

Beer, provided by Summit Brewing of course, will be available after the race. Runners 21-years-of-age or older will be offered either a 16oz Summit Twins Pils or 16oz Summit Triumphant Session IPA for free. Guests of age are welcome to purchase 16oz Summit Extra Pale Ale, Summit Slugfest Juicy IPA or Summit Twins Pils. Food, games and other entertainment will be onsite as well.

Cost for the 4-Mile ranges from $60 to $64 depending on registration date. Cost for the Sparkler Dash is free.

Registered runners can pick up their packets at the Summit Brewing Co. Ratskeller from 1 – 7 p.m. Saturday, July 2 and Sunday, July 3.

For more information, or to register, visit Twin Cities in Motion online.
