Summit Slugfest Juicy IPA is turning one-year-old! And what a year it has been.

A Trip Down Memory Lane

First released as a super-seasonal, this brew came on the scene in early 2019.

With IPAs continuing to be a huge trend in craft brewing, our team wanted to brew up one that was something unique. In an effort to connect American IPA trends with our classical European approach, our brewers created a beer that blends the two!

Unfiltered and highly-drinkable, Slugfest Juicy IPA has an aggressive citrus hop while still being lower in alcohol and bitterness.

Huge aromas of tangerine, melon and lemon – thanks to hop varieties Huell Melone, Azacca and Mandarina Bavaria – meet drinkers’ noses right away. Followed by notes of toast and English biscuit, it finishes juicy and refreshing.

Sensational Super-Seasonal Steps-Up

Shortly after its release, it was clear this beer had legs! You all drank and we listened and less than six months after its debut, Slugfest joined the regular line-up. It became our second IPA and sixth year-round beer.
