Summit Brewing Co. Sponsors Hook and Ladder Theater & Lounge Under the Canopy Series
After a year of virtual concerts and revisiting old recordings of shows, the Hook and Ladder Theater & Lounge in Minneapolis is helping us reintegrate with live music by hosting an in-person, outdoor music series. And Summit Brewing Co. is helping!
On May 1, Hook and Ladder Theater & Lounge began “Under the Canopy,” “an urban outdoor summer concert series.” Hosted in the venue’s parking lot, the concerts take place in a tent and hold 182 people in pods.
The line-up includes many of the artists that frequent The Hook and Ladder Theater & Lounge, with featured acts here and there. Blues musician James Samuel “Cornbread” Harris St. kicked off the series by celebrating his 94th birthday on Saturday, May 1.
As a sponsor, Summit will provide, what else, beer for the concerts! A selection of Summit Extra Pale Ale and Summit Sága IPA will be available to guests of age at each show.
