Summit Brewing Co. Celebrates 35 Years with Anniversary Party
In case you haven’t heard, Summit Brewing Co. is celebrating a big birthday, and we want to celebrate it with you!
September 24 marks 35 years in business for Summit, as it commemorates the first sale of Summit Extra Pale Ale kegs to Johnny’s Bar. To mark this occasion, as well are our recent re-opening of the Ratskeller and the ability for us to gather together safely once again, we decided to throw ourselves a birthday party.
On Oct. 16 we’re inviting you to join us at our brewery for a Summit Brewing Birthday Party! From 1 – 7 p.m. guests are invited to come and hang out on our block as we enjoy music, food and, of course, beer!
The event will feature four musical guests in an outside tent:
- 1:30 – 2:15 p.m. Samantha Moon
- 2:45 – 3:30 p.m. Little Fevers
- 4 – 5 p.m. Molly Maher
- 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Kiss the Tiger

We’ll have food from Dark Horse Bar & Eatery and Lone Oak Grill.
Our outside draught lines will feature Summit Extra Pale Ale, Summit Sága IPA, Summit Oktoberfest and our Minnesota State Fair exclusive Summit Berry Bazaar Black Currant and Cranberry.
Seating will be available on the patio, and this year we’ll have our Ratskeller Beer Hall open as well! That means all 20 draught lines inside will be available to drinkers too.
Cost to attend is $10 per entrance wristband. Guests must be 21+ to drink, we will be checking IDs! Children ages 12 and younger will be allowed in free of charge with parental supervision. Beer tickets are $7 or 3 for $20. The event will take place rain, snow or shine!
Our success over the years is because of our wonderful partners, customers and consumer so there is nothing we love better than being able to celebrate with you! We hope you’ll come out to enjoy a pint and toast to another 35 years of Summit beer!
