Summit Brewing Co. Takes Beer to The Waypoint Public House – Great Taste of the Midwest

Summit Brewing Co. is hitting the road for Great Taste of the Midwest, and we’re not stopping till we get to The Waypoint Public House in Monona, Wisconsin. Join us for your one and only chance to taste Summit’s limited collaboration beer for the fest, Lyndsey’s Lime Ale.

Refreshing and off the beaten path, Lyndsey’s Lime is our take on a traditional Kolsch. A small limited-release batch, this was specifically brewed for the Great Taste in collaboration with our friends from the Flying Hound Alehouse, The Free House Pub and Waypoint Public House. With a heavy dose of Barke Pils malt for notes of biscuit and honey, citrus-forward experimental hops complement the late lime-zest kettle additions. Additional flavors of tangerines will dance across your palate from a light dry-hop addition of Mandarina Bavaria, making this refreshing twist on a Kolsch the perfect beer to quench your thirst on a hot day on the Monona coast.

Join Summit at The Waypoint Public House for a couple pints, keep your own glass, and taste your way through a few of our other beers — including Summit Oatmeal Stout, Badge Chaser, Imperial Russian Stout, Extra Pale Ale, Skip Rock and Sága.
