Next Up from Summit Brewing: The Suburbs New Wave Ale

Hey Beer Drinkers! Hey Music Fans! Let’s all get together and help Twin Cities music legends The Suburbs celebrate the release of their newest album, Hey Muse! We’ve teamed up with the band to brew a special beer just for the occasion.

Copper in color, The Suburbs New Wave Ale features Calypso and Michigan Copper hops, moderate bitterness, and inviting aromas and flavors of pear and fruit punch. Catchy vocal harmonies and a punchy bassline provide balance with a nutty malt profile and touches of pie crust, graham cracker, and fuzzy distorted guitar. It’s truly an experience for all five senses.

Get your first taste at the Summit Beer Hall on Tuesday, June 27, from 6:30–9:30 p.m.

During these special Tuesday hours, The Suburbs themselves will be here to spin their hits and host a listening party for the new album, Hey Muse! Pints of The Suburbs New Wave Ale will be just $3, and everyone who buys a pint will receive a limited commemorative cup, too. You know, to commemorate things!

Important Note: This all-local collaboration beer is available only on draft, so if you miss the Listening Party, your only other opportunity to enjoy the beer will be at Minneapolis’s iconic First Avenue during The Suburbs August 4^thRecord Release Show.
