Brian Boru Irish Pipe Band Make Annual Christmas Visit to Summit Ratskeller

Tradition: A St. Paul tradition, the Brian Boru Irish Pipe Band started in 1962 as a way to preserve and celebrate Celtic tradition in the Twin Cities area. Since its inception the band has become a staple at many city events, including the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and the Minnesota State Fair. Every year, they make two stops at Summit Brewing Company – one around St. Patrick’s Day and the other near Christmastime. On Saturday, Dec. 21 the Brian Boru Irish Pipe Band will travel to Summit Brewing Company for its annual Christmas concert. The pipes will be calling at 4 p.m. in the Summit Ratskeller.
