Rediscover what IPAs used to taste like.
Summit True Brit IPA is returning! But, only for a limited time. Now in cans, this traditional English-style IPA will be part of our Summit Mixed Pack Best Of Edition, an homage to some of our award-winning brews. First brewed in 1993 as Summit India Pale Ale, then rebranded later to True Brit IPA, this traditional IPA has spicy hops and hints of caramel malt sweetness. Earthy, herbaceous and balanced, it finishes smooth and clean.
Summit True Brit IPA was inspired by traditional English-style India Pale Ales. As we’ve explored, the common story about how IPAs came to be were that British pale ales were given an extra wallop of dry hops to help the beer survive the long passage to India, where employees of the East India Trading Company were living and missing a taste of home. Retired in 2017, this brew will be making an appearance for a limited time inside the Summit Mixed Pack Best Of Edition. Find it near you.
