We’re fired up for our 2nd year of our EPA Power Play with the United heroes league
We’re excited to announce the launch of Year Two of the EPA Power Play campaign with our friends at the United Heroes League! Last year’s initiative was a resounding success, demonstrating the immense impact of community support as we raised over $40,000 to aid military families. As Summit Brewing’s CEO and President, Brandon Bland, noted, our decades-long history of supporting families, communities, and sports makes this collaboration a natural fit for our Extra Pale Ale (EPA), the brew that started it all. Every pint and 12-pack purchased amplified UHL’s vital mission of helping military families heal, build friendships, and engage through sports.
The inaugural year saw significant community engagement, highlighted by a special UHL event at the Ratskeller. The core of the campaign, however, was in the hands of our loyal fans. Whether you grabbed a cold EPA at your favorite local pub or stocked up at the liquor store, every purchase was a direct contribution to UHL’s work. Their mission is crucial: ensuring children of service members are afforded every opportunity to participate in sports by providing free sports equipment, game tickets, cash grants, and special experiences. To kick off Year 2 and put a spotlight on this essential work, we’re hosting a special event at the Summit Ratskeller on Thursday, November 14th, from 4 PM to 5 PM. Join us as we welcome UHL Founder and President, Shane Hudela, alongside Minnesota Wild star Jake Middleton, who will be guest “beertending” to raise a glass to the cause!
With the momentum from our successful first year, we are thrilled to power up for another season of the EPA Power Play. This partnership is more than just a fundraising drive; it’s a testament to the community’s dedication to supporting our heroes and their families. We invite everyone to join us again for Year Two by picking up a Summit Extra Pale Ale and by attending our special event on November 14th. Let’s keep the spirit of generosity and community engagement alive, making this year’s EPA Power Play even more impactful for the military families served by the United Heroes League!
