Our Twins Pils’ Rookie Season is in the Books

Another baseball season is in the books and as we get ready for baseball’s Fall Classic. Unfortunately, our very own Minnesota Twins just missed the postseason this year after another exciting season. Before the season started the Twins had a busy offseason with the signing of Carlos Correra and the extension of Byron Buxton. However, over here at Summit Brewing, we like to believe the biggest move this offseason was bringing in a clutch player from Saint Paul that was consistent every time and never disappointed.

Who might we be talking about you may ask? Well isn’t it obvious? We’re talking about our very own Twins Pils of course! Okay, maybe our Twins Pils wasn’t as impactful as we’d like to believe. However, in its debut season, we saw several fans across the state of Minnesota to the seats of Target Field come together to enjoy some baseball with a pint of Twins Pils in hand. As club President & CEO Dave St. Peter said at the beginning of the season “The Twins and our partners at Summit each have a long and proud tradition of bringing Minnesotans together around the joy of a shared experience.” This is the precise reason we here at Summit have and will continue to brew this beer for not just Twins fans but baseball fans and beer fans everywhere.

So Twins fans don’t be sad that the season’s over, go and grab the beer that was brewed for baseball, toast to another fun season, and get ready to watch some post-season baseball.
