Twins Pils Returns to the Summit Brewing Starting Line-up
If there’s one thing this mild winter has done for us around Summit Brewing Company, it’s gotten us super excited for the upcoming 2024 baseball season. We had a blast with the Twins last year. We witnessed some clutch walk-offs, countless home runs, a division title, and the end to a lengthy playoff win drought. However, once the lights were turned off in Target Field for the rest of the year, our Twins Pils offseason began. During it, we got to thinking about how we can ramp up even more excitement around this amazing beer and the Twins. And that’s when it hit us like a foul ball you lost track of in the sun, a new look to match the Twins’ look they adopted in 2023.
In 2022, Twins Pils was created in honor of the hometown Minnesota Twins and launched in a light blue can inspired by the 1980s uniform that many fans still adorn when visiting Target Field. Our new packaging features a bold, red Minnesota Twins logo on a cream background reminiscent of the Twins’ home jersey unveiled last year, finished off with some subtle pinstripes to complete that iconic baseball look.
When we brewed the first batch and planned on packaging it, we planned on releasing our new-look Twins Pils on Opening Day. Fortunately, once we saw the first pitch get thrown during Spring Training, we literally couldn’t wait any longer. Twins Pils is now available on draught in our Ratskeller taproom, in 12-packs of 12oz cans, and at select bars, pubs, restaurants, and liquor stores wherever Summit beer is sold. At Target Field, beginning opening day, April 4th, fans will be able to find 16oz cans and draught at select locations throughout the ballpark, including at the Summit Brewing Pub near section 229.
