Summit on 7th

Snow is falling, temps are dropping and events over at The X in St. Paul are ramping up! Now, whether you’re heading there to catch a concert, a convention, or some hockey, grabbing a pint of Summit before your event should always be a part of your plan. While we’re just down the street we understand stopping by the Ratskeller doesn’t fit everyone’s schedule, especially since we’re only open Thursday-Saturday 3P-8P. But don’t panic, a few great spots that are close to The X and, most importantly, pouring some Summit beer.

Truck Park

Looking for some food to pair your Summit beer with? How about Tacos? Maybe some fried chicken? Pizza? BBQ? Well, whichever you chose Truck Park has it all making it a great pre or post-event stop.

Patrick McGovern’s Pub

This neighborhood pub is one of Saint Paul’s favorite spots. Whether here for a sporting event, a downtown happening, or just grabbing a bite with friends or family, McGovern’s is the perfect place to pop in.

Eagle Street

It’s always easy to find a place that can be both convenient and good. Not the case for Eagle Street Grille. Located right across the street from The X Eagle Street Grille has a lot of great options to choose from before you head over to catch the game.

Wild Bills

Wings & beer. Need we say more? Oh, it’s also Kitty-corner from the X making Wild Bill’s an ideal for a pre-event stop.

Tom Reid’s

You’re heading over to catch tonight’s hockey game and you’re coming down 7th. Puck drop is at 7:00 PM so it’s pretty dark. Before you even get close to the stadium you’re hit with what’s arguably the brightest blue neon sign on earth. That’s Tom Reid’s and it just so happens to be one of the most iconic hockey bars around. Not a bad place to grab a Summit beer.

Burger & Summit EPA at Burger Moe’s

Burger Moe’s

Burgers are awesome and Summit beer is obviously great. That makes Burger Moe’s the perfect place to grab both!

Louis’ Ristorante & Frank’s Levee Tavern at Cossetta’s

Looking for a place to sit down and enjoy a nice meal before the game or something quick so you can get over before puck drop? Well, doesn’t matter because Louis’ & Cossetta’s have you covered with an elegant restaurant and a fast-casual spot on the first floor with Frank’s Levee Tavern on the second floor!

These are only a few options in St. Paul but you can find more spots to take in a Summit with our beer finder!
