Tucked inside the heart of Summit Brewing Company in St. Paul, the Ratskeller isn’t your average tasting room—it’s a beer lover’s clubhouse with Midwest charm and zero pretension. Whether you're chasing your favorite Summit seasonal, scouting something new on tap, or just looking for a good place to sit and talk about the weather (because we always are), this is the spot.
From live music and food trucks to seasonal blowouts and beer launches, Summit’s events are the kind of good times that don’t require a wristband or a reason—just a decent pair of boots and a love for good beer. Held at our Ratskeller Tasting Room in St. Paul, Summit events bring together neighbors, beer nerds, and anyone who thinks a Friday night is best spent with a pint in hand.
When Mark Stutrud decided to forego getting his Masters in social work to start a brewery, he knew he was undertaking a risky endeavor.
