Introducing Purple Maize – Our 2024 MN State Fair Exclusive Beer!
Summit Brewing Company is excited to announce the release of Purple Maize, a one-of-a-kind beer crafted especially for the 2024 Minnesota State Fair. This innovative brew is based on the popular Mexican lager style. It is infused with flaked blue corn, resulting in a distinctive flavor profile and a unique and vibrant magenta hue.
Purple Maize boasts a delightful combination of flavors, including cereal, honey, hay, and biscuit. With a light-bodied composition and a clean, bitter finish, this beer offers a refreshingly crisp drinking experience that is sure to captivate fairgoers. This beer has an ABV of 4.5% and an IBU rating of 13. Both help make Purple Maize refreshing, crushable, and perfect to enjoy even on the hottest fair days.
