Lizze Christian, a self-taught artist based in Minneapolis, has dedicated herself to rare press block printing for the past few years. Her journey in the art world began with painting and illustrations, but she always found herself drawn back to printmaking. Hailing from Minneapolis, Lizzie’s work on this year’s Summit State Fair Bandana prominently features floral-like designs, with a keen focus on incorporating hops and leaves into her designs to achieve a balanced pattern and make it synonymous with the art of brewing. She has always held a strong affection for lettering and incorporates it into her work.
