A native son of St. Paul, Summit EPA was the first craft beer Nick ever tried - and it triggered his interest in the industry. He went on to get his biology degree, lived in New Zealand, worked at an Oregon brewery and eventually wound back up here where it all started. Ahh, the circle of life!

Summit’s only Canadian-born brewer, James tended bar for 12 years and loves beer so much he adopted a dog named Barley.
