Imperial Russian Stout
Royal • Robust • Rich
Summit Imperial Russian Stout is perhaps our darkest beer to date. This coal black brew has flavors of roasted malt, mocha coffee, black licorice and dark fruit. It’s assertive and bold but with a warming finish. Barrel-aged for five-to-six months, it’s ready to be enjoyed fresh off the shelves.
Conversation starter
Imperial Russian Stout first appeared in 2017 and was the 6th beer in our Union Series. Inspired by a British recipe from the 1840s, this brew is aged for 5-to-6 months in a 300-barrel stainless steel fermentation tank at 50°F. It’s a true testament to Summit’s commitment to using authentic methods and ingredients with an experimental twist.
