Summit Brewing Co. Teams Up With United Heroes League

Hi Everybody. We’re Summit Brewing Co. You might remember us from such beers as Extra Pale Ale, Sága IPA, or Oatmeal Stout. This past January, in the year 2018, we debuted a new Czech-Style Pilsener called Dakota Soul — named after the home state of our Founder, President and Chief Knucklehead Mark Stutrud. It tastes a little like English biscuits, toast, honey, and graham cracker, and those pleasant flavors and aromas can be attributed to the beer’s Moravian 37 barley, which is grown in North Dakota by Mr. Stutrud’s cousins.

Anyway, moving onto pressing business, during the month of July, Summit is donating a portion of proceeds from Dakota Soul sales to United Heroes League, a charitable organization raising money and awareness, and collecting sports equipment, for military families across the U.S. and Canada — our neighbor to the north.

Should you wish to support this program — aimed at getting service members and their families active on the rink and in the field — please consider purchasing and enjoying Summit Dakota Soul at participating retailers, bars, restaurants, and other venues. Here’s a whole big list you can look at if you feel so inclined.
