Summit Brewing Company has always made it a priority to give back to the community that has helped us succeed. We’re happy to do what we can to enhance the quality of life where we live, work and play. This commitment takes on many forms.
We offer our Ratskeller community room free of charge to local groups such as:
Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce
Master Brewers Association of the Americas
American Homebrewers Association
We sponsor local events such as:
Irish Fair
Minneapolis Institute of Art's Third Thursdays

We make in-kind donations:
We’re happy to donate Summit product/merchandise to help make charitable fundraisers and events a success.
We support worthy causes such as:
Second Harvest Heartland – collecting food as “payment” for our free tours
Feed My Starving Children – we host an on-site food packing event each year
Adopt-a-Highway – we sponsor the portion of 35E between the brewery and downtown St. Paul, which Summit employees and tour guides clean up several times a year
North Dakota Museum of Art – in honor of Mark Stutrud’s North Dakota roots
Minnesota Music Coalition – a non-profit that fosters emerging local artists
Saint Paul Winter Carnival – hey, getting Minnesotans to do a little community building outdoors in January is definitely a worthy cause
FINNEGANS Irish Amber- Community service 12 ounces at a time. This blissfully crafted ale is a beer that does good. FINNEGANS donates all profits to help alleviate poverty throughout the Midwest region. FINNEGANS is contract brewed at the Summit Brewing Company, and we’ve been proud to be a supportive brewing partner since 2003.
