Welcome to the Summit Beer Hall & Tap Room! We're open Thursdays 4-8pm, Fridays 4-10pm, and Saturdays 12-10pm serving year-round, seasonal and speciality beers. We also have food trucks on-site and fun special events including live music, stand-up comedians, movie screenings, Trivia Night and much more.   • Garden Party: This year, 2016, West End neighbors celebrate the last eight years’ successful yard and garden tours, their 140 gardens and gardeners, and the thousands of “tourists” they bring to the West End. There will be a plant sale, a garden art sale, a children’s potting table, a coloring contest, and Summit’s array of beers and root beer! Friday, July 1 - Live Music with Martin Devaney!
  • Live Music 7-9pm by Martin Devaney: With six full length albums to date, Martin Devaney, "the unofficial mayor of St. Paul", is one of the Twin Cities best known songwriters. A former member of Heiruspecs and current front man of his side project Crossing Guards, Devaney is first and foremost a songwriter. Whether playing solo or with his rotating cast of players with a full band, he has crafted a tight set of songs over the years. Currently settling into making album #7 after a few years off from touring. 2016 is shaping up to be one of the busiest yet. Want a taste of his music? Check him out on Bandcamp!

  • Live Jazz: Join us at the Summit Beer Hall & Patio for some live music from local jazz performers, Fermentation! This Minneapolis based jazz quintet describes their musical genre as "Jazz, or something like it." Whatever the genre, it's sure to be a great time with great music! Join us with Fermentation on our beautifully foliated patio (weather permitting) for a pint and some ear candy!

  • Nershfest: It’s music. It’s friends. It’s a Minnesota summer day. It’s also the name of the Minneapolis-based music festival featuring live local music, craft beer and great food! Event proceeds will benefit the Minnesota Music Coalition. Saturday, September 3 - MN Brewery Running Series
  • Summit teams up with our friends at Brewery Running Series to co-host a late-morning Beer Run! Join us at 9AM on at the brewery and enjoy a 5k-ish fun run/walk/jog through the surrounding Saint Paul neighborhood, parks and streetscape. You can walk, jog, run… no one cares. We’ve mapped out an awesome course that starts and ends at the brewery and our guides along the way will make sure you know where to go. Summit Beer Hall & Patio will be closed on Saturday, September 10 as we celebrate our 30th Anniversary Backyard Bash with a few thousand of our friends, family and fans. Join us for a day-long party and music festival including Bob Mould & His Band, Bully, deM atlaS, Bad Bad Hats, Apollo Cobra, Nooky Jones and Hotpants DJ. Location

Our brewery’s Ratskeller (German for “council room”) where our bar is located and where all of our tours begin.  In the warm months we also have bluff side patio seating.  Leashed, well behaved pets are welcome on the patio!

No reservations are needed, just come on over! Feel free to bring a large group, but it doesn't hurt to call ahead if you have a very large crew, just so we're prepared. 

 

Tours
Tours are not given during Beer Hall hours, but we do have tours at 3pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Reservations are required for tours - RSVP here.
