Welcome to the Summit Beer Hall & Tap Room! We're open Friday and Saturday from 4-9pm serving year-round, seasonal and speciality beers. We also have food trucks on-site and have a lot of fun special events like movie screenings, Trivia Night and fundraisers.

Saturday, August 1 ** MAKE IT SO BEER HALL RELEASE PARTY **

  • Join us for a very special event as we celebrate the release of our newest beer Unchained 19: Make It So, an Extra Special Bitter infused with Earl Grey Tea. Crafted by brewer Nick Hempfer, Make It So is a tribute to one of Nick's other favorite things: Star Trek: The Next Generation. See this Summit Blog post for more information on the beer, ingredients and inspiration.
  • The party is going down at the Summit Beer Hall & Patio on Saturday, August 1. Be one of the first beer lovers to try this unique beer, dress up to compete in a Star Trek themed costume contest, and visit with our friends from TeaSource - the source of our Earl Grey Tea - as they host tea education/demonstrations. USS Nokomis, a Twin Cities Star Trek fan club will also be hanging out and showing off their awesome interactive Star Trek props! Plus, the intergalactic DJ Nemo will be spinning all night long featuring sci-fi movie soundtrack remixes and other nerd-friendly jams!

Saturday, August 15 – Bags 4 Wags / Patio Dogs

  • It's a full day of dog-friendly fun and fundraising at Summit Beer Hall & Backyard. From 10:30am-5pm, Summit will host the Bags 4 Wags Cornhole Tournament & Fundraiser to benefit Secondhand Hounds. The event includes live music, silent auction and Scratch food truck. Registration is filling up fast. See this link to register your team now! 
  • Then at 5pm we kick into Patio Dogs mode! Our montly Patio Dogs party have been getting more and more popular all summer long. Join us for dog-friendly fun on the patio with Barkley's Bistro and food truck from Rusty Taco.
  • And if that wasn't enough, our biweekely trivia night featuring Trivia Mafia starts inside the Beer Hall at 6pm.

Friday, August 28 – Spoke n’ Pint Winter Cycling Congress Fundraiser

  • Ride your bike to Summit Beer Hall & Patio for a great night of fun including trivia, new bike-centric merchandise in the gift shop, and great beer. 50% of the proceeds from all beer sold in the Beer Hall & Patio this evening will go directly to the Winter Cycling Congress Scholarship Fund. The WCC (held in Minneapolis and Saint Paul on Feb. 2-4, 2016) is a three-day professional development event uniting a diverse and international group of people with a shared vision of increasing bicycling and walking among people of all ages and abilities through the winter. The WCC Scholarship Fund  will be used to support: international speakers coming from cities with high mode share for cycling; people from and working with underserved communities, especially those disproportionately affected by health problems; and student speakers on track to change the world with their brilliant research.

Location

Our brewery’s Ratskeller (German for “council room”) where our bar is located and where all of our tours begin.  In the warm months we also have bluff side patio seating.  Leashed, well behaved pets are welcome on the patio!

No reservations are needed, just come on over! Feel free to bring a large group, but it doesn't hurt to call ahead if you have a very large crew, just so we're prepared.

Tours are not given during Beer Hall hours, but we do have tours at 3pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Reservations are required for tours - RSVP here.
